Apostle David Durant

Apostle David L. Durant is the founder and senior pastor of Restoration Ministries in Britton's Hill, St. Michael, Barbados. While living in Guyana, he received Jesus Christ into his life. He attended Bible School and during that time he served as Youth Leader and National Youth Director in the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches.

He returned to his homeland after participating in a pioneering venture in Guyana having a vision to establish a church in Barbados. This visionary was but a youth.

He has a strong Prophetic and Deliverance anointing in his ministry, bringing restoration and freedom to the lives of God's people. He is also a gifted psalmist

Prophet Durant is married to a lovely woman, Joy Durant (in 1980), and God has blessed them with three sons, David Jr. Jonathan and Timothy.

Pastors Donovan & Lisa Martin

It is a pleasure to introduce you to the youthful, beautiful and anointed co-ordinators of the Refuel International Youth Camp, Pastors Donovan and Lisa Martin. This couple are members of Restoration Ministries International and serves as the leaders of the Youth and Missions ministries.

Pastor Donovan was born in St. Catherine Jamaica. At the age of twenty-one (21) he was faced with major challenges in his life after being trapped in the world of drugs and living his life without Jesus Christ. These plights led him behind prison bars in London, England where he was supposed to serve a sentence of twelve (12) years. It was during this time that Donovan had an encounter with Jesus; he realized at that moment that Jesus was the only one he could turn to and would give him grace at this critical time of his life.

Donovan accepted Jesus Christ one day at Chapel and within two days all charges against him were dismissed. He soon returned to Jamaica where he became involved with Faith Clinic Ministries. Donovan was determined that he was going all the way for Jesus and he no longer was going to traffic drugs but rather would traffic the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. With this fervor and determination he attended Faith Clinic Bible Institute and also became actively involved in his local church where he became youth president and later would become the assistant Pastor.

Being involved in Faith Clinic Ministries which subsequently became Caribbean Lifetime Missions he became the Regional Director and traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, USA, Canada and England spreading the good news of Jesus through mission evangelism during which time he was privileged to see many persons accept Jesus Christ and their lives transformed.

Donovan became ordained as Pastor in Jamaica in the year 1996 by Jamaica Minister Fraternal. In the same year he met Lisa whom he would soon marry and hence later migrate to Barbados.

Pastor Lisa came from a life where at the age of ten (10) her parents divorced and she blamed herself for it. This became the root of depression in her life. She felt hurt and unloved with a void that needed to be filled. This led her on a search for love but in all the wrong places.

After a series of mistakes, she received the Lord at the age of nineteen (19). This enabled her to walk on a path where she was then able to help other young persons who were facing similar struggles. She became actively involved in an organization called “Women Aglow” where she eventually became the President. It was this new journey in life that caused her to get totally serious concerning God and she became sold out to that purpose. Soon after, she met Donovan whom after a couple months of that meeting asked her to marry him.

Working Together

Pastors Donovan and Lisa Martin have been married for over ten years. When asked how God has used their union thus far they explained that being accountable to each other and inspiring one another to be the best individual each one can be has led to their personal and corporate growth. Their spiritual maturity has also progressed as they motivate, pray for and constantly encourage each other to rise to another level. Together they have decided to make the most of every opportunity that God allows to come their way.

In addition to both of the Martins being involved in the Youth and Missions ministries Youth Pastor Lisa is the visionary for the women’s ministry of Wives on the Front Line.

Donovan and Lisa’s goals for the Youth and Missions department are as follows:

• To see the youth continually strive to a higher level of intimacy in their relationship with God;

• For the youth to experience different cultures, countries, etc, while being a source of encouragement to and networking with those they come into contact with;

• To train missionaries up from the congregation for both long and short term mission outreaches throughout the world.

Some of these goals are being achieved through the Refuel International Youth Camp. This camp is the spiritual brain child of the Martins and this vision was birthed from the desire of them wanting to see young people from the Caribbean region and internationally come together and worship God with one passion and desire. It was a vision God had given Lisa several years before it actually materialized.

The expectations for the camp are being met each year. The fruits of the camp include networking of young people from different islands, building of friendships, the coming forth of ministries and purpose and destiny being fulfilled.
