It is a pleasure to introduce you to the youthful, beautiful and anointed co-ordinators of the Refuel International Youth Camp, Pastors Donovan and Lisa Martin. This couple are members of Restoration Ministries International and serves as the leaders of the Youth and Missions ministries.

Lisa Marqueta Martin is the wife of Pastor Donovan Martin. They have been married for almost eleven years. Lisa, at the age of nineteen was actively involved in Women's Aglow International and a year later was given the position of Teens Aglow President which she held for five years becoming involved with the youth throughout the island of Barbados.

Refuel came about due to a vision the Lord gave me about twelve (12) years ago. Being the President of Teens Aglow, an interdenominational organization I was privilege to meet young people from all walks of life and through the region. Seeing the zeal and passion in young people who God had touched and used for his Glory, I was enlightened and motivated to move in the direction of wanting to see more youth dedicate their lives to God and move from spiritual darkness and death to light and life.

It was during this time that I really began to prayer to God that he would use me in whatever way he wanted to effect change in the lives of youth. Soon after this, I would meet my husband Donovan Martin who was a man totally sold out for God. Being a missionary he traveled extensively throughout the world, bringing hope and love to a dying world. Donovan also has a strong love for the youth and stand with me as we go forth sharing the love and compassion of Christ.

After taking up membership with Restoration Ministries, God began to really use us in the area of Missions and the Youth. We soon became the Mission Directors and carried a large delegate of young people throughout the Region and North America.

At the end of the year 2004 the vision began to come alive in my heart and spirit. I began envisioning a group of young people, breaking down every denominational, social and cultural barrier coming together in an arena, where nothing mattered but God and him being glorified in their lives. Not knowing how this would materialize, I began to share the vision, firstly, to my husband who gave me the encouragement to "go after it" and then to the youth committee of Restoration.

Two key people who played a major role in helping this vision to come to reality was Miss Kelly Ann Bowen, committee member and Miss Dyan Davis from Trinidad. After much prayer I felt God was leading us to the island of Trinidad, upon speaking to Miss Davis she confirm this and started to put "Legs" to the vision.

Things began to happen so quickly that we realized that we needed to get the release and blessing from our Pastor David Durant, who immediately saw it as a good work and encouraged us to go forth.

Because of the dedicated youth committee I worked with we began brain storming to come up with fund raising ventures; to get the Vision of Refuel 2005 in Motion.

Things began to happen so fast that at times I was wondering if it was all true. God indeed showed Himself awesome. Finally it was July 25, 05. Refuel was upon us, what anxiety, what honor, so much emotions was flooding my entire being.
